Sue works with Kindred's socially-trading organisations (STOs), providing post-investment support as they work on growing their organisations and increasing their social impact across the Liverpool City Region.
Over the past 20 years, Sue has worked alongside entrepreneurs, social enterprises and purpose-led organisations, helping people turn ideas into sustainable organisations. Having built her own social enterprise – as well as supported hundreds of entrepreneurs – she understands both the excitement and the reality of starting something from scratch. She enjoys working with people to uncover the potential in their ideas, grow in confidence and take their next best step.
Alongside her role at Kindred, Sue is Programme Lead for Citizen First LCR, where she helped design and shape the first programme of its kind in the city region. Working with nine purpose-led entrepreneurs, the programme supported founders to build sustainable businesses and secure almost £400,000 in grants, investment and commercial opportunities in its first year.
Sue completed an MBA in Business Scale Up at Liverpool John Moores University in 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, Guinness and Lola, and escaping somewhere sunny whenever she gets the chance.
