James looks after the financial administration at Kindred and supports the wider finance and investment teams with whatever they need, day-to-day.
It’s a varied role, and that’s exactly what he enjoys about it. With a keen eye for efficiency, James enjoys finding better ways of doing things: streamlining processes, tidying up systems and getting stuck into data.
James joined Kindred as a career change, having spent years working in hospitality for a large national charity and is currently studying towards an accounting qualification alongside the day job.
Before that, he worked in professional kitchens, so food and cooking are still a big part of life outside work. Outside Kindred, James can usually be found outdoors: cycling, climbing or camping, or round a table playing board games.
