Dr Joanne Leek – advisory board member

Dr Joanne Leek is Senior Investment Manager at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and a board member of the Institute of Economic Development. She oversees a £220m investment portfolio and has led over £100m of investments focused on inclusive growth, supporting businesses to drive productivity, sustainability and tackle inequality, with a strong emphasis on the social economy. Joanne holds a PhD in systems transition, specialising in the role of social enterprises in driving systemic change.
