William Lilley – board member

William is passionate about tackling the underlying root causes of health and social inequalities at a local, regional and national level. He is currently a programme director at the South West Academic Health Science Network (SW AHSN), where he leads a portfolio of projects dedicated to developing new innovations focused on health equity. He has led the development of a leadership academy focused on supporting health and social care innovators to scale up their projects nationally and has established a number of investment programmes dedicated to nurturing the social enterprise sector.

Prior to this, William worked for several large housing and care charities and was a co-founder of a successful joint venture consortium, comprised of 50 charities, that delivered culturally sensitive mental health services.
