Christine Spriggs – collaborating communities lead

Christine is a creative producer, place-maker, connector and funding specialist working in community engagement, regionally and nationally, for over 25 years. She brings national expertise and connections from across the UK to Liverpool City Region. Her work in Kindred reflects this and centres around connecting and supporting STOs to drive engagement, support ideas development and build capacity within our STO community. Christine has raised over £1.75 million in support of a wide range of small- and medium-sized community organisations across the North.

Her work brings an artistic and cultural flavour too, using a creative approach to encourage innovative thinking to make things happen. She leads Kindred’s collaborating communities work, supporting placemaking by building networks and facilitating conversations with STOs, key people and organisations so that Kindred is better able to support and sustain innovative networks of enterprise and collaboration across the region.

Christine uses her expertise in creative engagement to tap into local potential by developing confidence and coaching. She played a key role in the co-creation sessions with LCR’s STOs that formed the basis of Kindred’s development.

Christine is also responsible for evaluating Kindred’s work, taking a story-led approach that draws on both qualitative and quantitative research, using learnings from its pilot phase to develop and establish an evidence base.
