We are a community benefit society independent bookshop and community hub. Our mission is to promote reading for pleasure, engage with the community and support local authors and artists promote their work.

We are purpose before profit, operating as a charity. We are owned by the community (with shares) and run for the community. Everything we make is re-invested back into the bookshop to ensure a fresh supply of the latest literature is available to the people of St Helens.
