Open Culture

Open Culture is a social enterprise which aims to increase the profile of and engagement with the arts in Liverpool and the region. Known for projects like LightNight Liverpool, the Tickle the Ivories street pianos and the Winter and Summer Arts Markets, we nurture artists and audiences through a variety of projects and events; connecting artists and audiences to make people happier.

Established in 2007, we produce creative projects from start to finish and love to make interesting things happen. Working across multiple art forms and commissioning artists means we are experienced in working in a variety of arts, community and commercial settings; delivering engaging projects to a high standard. We believe arts and culture should lie at the heart of all social policy, as arts engagement improves quality of life and wellbeing for individuals and communities in terms of regeneration, health, education and crime reduction. — art is for everyone — collaboration and partnerships — arts activity improves people’s health & wellbeing —reduce, reuse & recycle.

Open Culture is a social enterprise working collaboratively to produce impactful community minded arts projects and events. We like to spark the imagination and find new ways to engage people in creativity; connecting artists and audiences to make people happier. One of our social projects is our free to use website uncoverliverpool.com which offers a what’s on guide to the city’s and the regions art scene, plus resources, jobs and opportunities.
