Positive Life Workshops CIC
Our mission is to help improve mental health and wellbeing, reduce suicides and self-harm rates in our local community. We want to help people become more forward and future thinking. The core of the work we do is looking at ways to improve mental health in our community with lived experience.
We have just researched our own innovative Virtual reality resilience program over the last 12 months with funding from the St.Helens council and Office of Health Inequalities and Disparities. This research has shown an average of 37% improvement to participants' mental health. We currently facilitate a range of sessions in the community along with facilitating privately funded sessions for listening ears, emotional youth group, the young carers centre and Claire’s ADHD parent group. We also run funded weekly men's VR gaming, art and craft for wellbeing and a weekly ladies lounge.
We work in the community for the community.
